So, I got a Kindle for Christmas. I can't decide if I love it or loathe it at this point. There is something about the magic of shopping for a book that Kindle just zaps out of the whole process. First there is the trip to the book store. The joy of getting to browse & see which books catch my eye. Then there is the anticipation of getting home to start the new stack. Its like a drug really, and the kindle doesn't have all the "smells & bells" that come with the tradition of reading for me.
My biggest complaint is that you have to click a button (I hear on the Nook you swipe the page to "turn" the pages) to turn a page. There is just some indescribably delicious sensation about having a page between my fingers to turn.
I'm trying to make friends, Kindle. I'm just set in my ways I guess. I suppose time will tell.
Currently Reading (in true book form. I have a stack left then its the true test of the kindle):
